I'm getting old!!!

Hey fronters,

If you are a regular here than I guess you know that I work nights, I do 12 hour shifts based on 4 on and 4 off, this is the 3rd of 4 off and I'm bloody loving it! The past shift's I've worked have been pretty stressfully hard work, mainly because we're under staffed, there's 3 of doing the jobs of 6 people, so it's pretty tough. Which is pretty much the main reason I haven't done a proper update for a few days!

I think that I must be getting old, I know that sounds trite, but the other day I gave up to opportunity of going clubbing to stay home and watch tv with Chinese take-out! Yeah, and the kinda programmes I was watching were all these 'house searches overseas' or 'building a new life' kinda shows. Is this me getting old? Are my feet getting itchy? Do I have wanderlust?

I guess all 3 are some what true and pretty close to the mark, I am getting older, any you know you're getting older when the Policemen start looking younger, when your driving along somewhere and you see some sight or other and think to yourself 'Oh that would make a lovely postcard!' Or perhaps, it's those little signs of the ageing process that start becoming more noticeable, for example those little crows feet around my eyes are now huge great deep furrows. Those little flippy nose hairs are not great long bushy strands that demand plucking. Or, those little blonde flecks in my hair are not in fact blonde, they are grey! Yes, all signs of getting older and all effecting me now! Oh god, where is the youth? Where has it gone? If you find it on your bookshelf or in your laundry basket, please return it......thank you!

Snipes, Swayze and Leguizamo play top New York drag queens on the way to sunny California, but they get stranded is some hick town and change the lives of the locals, never to be the same ever again! There's a cute little lad in the movie that simply makes me want to jet off over to the midwest and mother him! Ohh god, I am getting old, not so long back I'd have wanted to roger him silly, now I just want to mother him! Anyway, 'Too Wong Foo.... is out now on DVD.
